“The Gold Coast is stoked to be the home of the inaugural Australian Interschool Surfing Championships and welcome competitors from around Australia to our city.

With some of the world’s best surfing breaks right here, it is only fitting that the Gold Coast will see the next generation of professional surfers battle it out in this new event format. Having welcomed the Australian Boardriders Battle Grand Final for the first time this year, and with the WSL Championship Tour set to return in 2025, you are in good company with some of the world’s best surfers competing on our shores.

Surfing is in our city’s DNA, and many young Gold Coasters learn to surf on our magnificent beaches almost as soon as they can walk. The Gold Coast is the lifestyle capital of Australia and our city embodies beach culture. When you’re not carving out on the waves, don’t forget to enjoy our friendly hospitality and the many attractions along the coast and hinterland.
